A colourful kingfisher handcrafted from individual feathers. Inspired by the rare blue glimpses of these lovely birds when we lived by a river. I sculpted this from coloured polymer clay, adding a resin eye and a silver fish finished with an iridescent coating, and finished the sculpture with artist's grade acrylic paint

The kingfisher measures 7 inches from end of beak to tail, with a wingspan of 8 inches
