I have discovered the infinite variety of amazing things that can be made from polymer clay, this 'bake in an oven' medium is ideal for creating anything from jewellery to miniature figures to sculpture. Its wonderful colours and versatility make it ideal for unleashing my creative tendencies, below are some of my polymer clay wall art sculptures. These are all completely hand sculpted, the colours are mostly either from coloured clay or applied to the raw clay and baked in, with a few embellishments in artist grade acrylic paint, all to ensure longevity of the piece. However it's best not to place them in direct sunlight.

I have butterflies, a kingfisher, a cat and a dragonfly, all pieces are modelled on real insects, birds and animals. The butterflies mostly have translucent wings to let the light shine through, and to better capture the lovely dancing quality of the insects portrayed.
